Our goal is to have rosters posted on our website within a week following tryouts. We will post each of the rosters on our website, stiksacademy.com.

Once rosters are named, a $500 deposit will be required by September 1st to ensure your spot on the roster. Direct emails or phone calls may be made by head coaches to confirm your spot on roster.

Each player will receive the STiKS uniforms (at least 1 jersey and a pair of pants), practice t-shirt, helmet, backpack, hat and belt. For returning players, we will look at condition of their helmet and backpacks before ordering new. Each player will receive a membership to the STiKS Facility. STiKS players have the opportunity to do private lessons at a discounted rate with several of the club coaches available. There is also an opportunity to buy Wilson, DeMarini, and Louisville Slugger products at discounted rates. Teams 12U and older may have weight training sessions built right into their package that we encourage ALL players to utilize.
Most of the tournaments will be in SE Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Coaches may choose to do one or two national events. For the High School aged groups, you can expect approximately seven tournaments from Mid-June until the end of July, which will be played throughout the Midwest.
No. Playing time is something we do not guarantee nor will it always be equal. Most of our coaches utilize a continuous batting order or use the Extra Hitter at older levels to try and get as many people in the game as possible.
Yes, absolutely. Parent coaches are utilized quite often at the younger levels. We try to have non-parent coaches at the high school levels, but some of our best coaches in the program are parent coaches. Parent coaches have as much passion and put in more time than any other coaches we can find.
Absolutely not. Our job is to provide quality coaching and provide facility to help them improve year-round. We will certainly help guide them in the right direction and help them get in front of coaches, but ultimately it is up to the individual player to PRODUCE when given those opportunities.
We provide quality instruction from our team coaches to our club coaches, we offer a year-round facility to train in, and we play against the top level competition on a weekly basis. We are a proven winner and we have proven that we can develop some of the best talent around the Midwest.
